Ireland’s Pharma Industry is Booming: Here’s How to Be Part of It

No doubt you’ve heard that Ireland is home to global tech companies like Facebook and Google. But did you know some of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies are based here too? You’ve only got to peek inside your medicine cupboard to see that many products are made in Ireland. In fact, we’re the eighth largest producer of pharmaceuticals in the world.

It’s an industry with excellent room for career advancement. A recent CPL study listed pharma as one of the top five growth industries in Ireland in 2018. The study noted that there have been salary increases in the industry due to a combination of steep competition, high demand and new start-ups. So, if you’re looking for a career with real room for advancement, Ireland’s pharma industry might just be for you.
