Prize Recognition for Outstanding Master’s Student Presentations
Innopharma Education recently hosted a career preparation workshop for our Master’s students, reinforcing our commitment to career-focused education and industry readiness.
The session brought together students from the MSc in Pharmaceutical Business & Technology, MSc in Medical Device Technology & Business and MSc in Pharmaceutical Quality Systems Validation and Technology programmes. It is another example of how Innopharma Education works differently from many institutions by placing employability, professional development, and real-world industry preparation at the centre of the student experience.
At the workshop, we celebrated the students who delivered outstanding presentations. They demonstrated not only their technical understanding of the subject matter, but their ability to communicate it in a compelling and professional manner.

Spotlight on the Winning Teams

MSc in Pharmaceutical Business & Technology – First Place Winners
The team members include Sreelakshmi Sunil, Subin Kumar Sugunakumar, Yashraj Pranavbhal Joshi, Yusuff Asamu and Zainab Khan. They presented an analysis of the phase III clinical trial for Keytruda, examining how the immunotherapy treatment performed against standard platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with lung cancer. The presentation was technically detailed, covering trial design, recruitment criteria, timelines, and the drug’s mechanism, while also situating the study within the wider pharmaceutical development landscape. The kind of presentation that captures both the scientific complexity and the human urgency behind modern cancer research.

MSc in Medical Device Technology & Business – First Place Winners
Iqra Faran and Harsh Vishnubhai Patel presented a concept for magnetically controlled capsule endoscopy, i.e. guiding a small ingestible capsule using external magnetic fields, eliminating the need for traditional tubing. The proposal was technically well-grounded and gave careful attention to patient experience, addressing one of the more uncomfortable procedures in routine clinical practice. These kind of innovations in emerging trends underpin why people choose a career in medical technology in the first place.
We would like to congratulate all participating students for their hard work, professionalism, and enthusiasm throughout the workshop, and especially acknowledge the prize winners for their exceptional presentations.
