Nothing is changing about your current settings or how your information is processed. Rather, Innopharma have improved the way we describe our practices and how we explain the options you have to update, manage, export, and delete your data.
In common with other websites, log files are stored on our web server saving details such as the visitor’s IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. Where registration is required, the visitor’s email address, name, location and contact details will be stored on our server.
Use and Sharing
Innopharma will only share your personal data with wholly owned subsidiaries and third parties who have entered into a data processing agreement in line with their confidentiality obligations. Email addresses may be shared with third parties.
Protection of your personal data:
We use a range of physical, electronic and managerial measures to ensure that we keep your personal data secure, accurate and up to date. These measures include:
- education and training to relevant staff to ensure they are aware of our data protection obligations when processing personal data;

- physical security measures, such as staff security passes to access our premises.
- Storage of data using GDPR compliant database management systems in EU and US based data centres.

We are required by law to set out in this privacy notice the legal grounds on which we rely in order to process your personal data. We rely on one or more of the following lawful grounds:
- you have explicitly agreed to us processing your information for a specific reason;
- the processing is necessary to perform the agreement we have with you or to take steps to enter into an agreement with you;

Innopharma will retain your personal data on our secure data base (as outlined above) for a period that is appropriate and in accordance with our legitimate business requirements. We will review all the data we hold periodically and where we do not have a legitimate business need, your personal data will be removed from our records.
Partner Institutions & Awarding Bodies
We may share your personal data with third parties where required by law, where it is necessary to perform a contract or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so. We will need to use your data to perform our obligations and exercise our rights under agreements made with you and to inform you of feedback and exam results.
Awarding Bodies: We provide certain personal information collected by us, including PPS numbers, to Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and other Awarding Bodies to allow them to process students’ results through their systems Privacy Statement.
Pursuant to EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679; together with all other applicable legislation relating to privacy or data protection you have a number of rights, including the right to:
1) request copies of your data,
2) request rectification of your data,
3) request erasure of your data,
4) object to us processing your data,
5) request us to restrict the processing.
Please note that in certain circumstances it may be still lawful for us to continue processing your information even where you have withdrawn your consent, if one of the other legal bases described above is applicable.
