Innopharma Education and Griffith College Dublin have launched a new and exciting course in Digital Transformation (Life Science). The course focuses on enhancing knowledge, skills and competencies associated with the concepts of the smart factory and the evolution of life science manufacturing. The course explores both traditional and emerging concepts with a focus on Industry 4.0 and Pharma 4.0.
The life science sector within Ireland offers huge opportunities with a growing demand for pharma, medical device and food skills. There are currently over 130,000 people employed in Ireland within these industries. All 10 of the global top 10 pharma companies have premises here along with 8 of the worlds top 10 medtech companies. Ireland is a globally recognised centre of excellence for life sciences.
Upon completion of this Digital Transformation course, graduates would be suited for employment within life science organisations who are transforming their processes to integrate data, new technologies, data analytics, improved ways of working and improved support processes. This course is suitable for those interested in entering the life science sector and also for those who are already within the industry and are interested in upskilling.

Digital Transformation Training
This Digital Transformation (Life Science) programme is available as a Post Graduate Diploma or as a Masters Degree. Those interested in completing the full Masters Degree will undertake a dissertation at the end of the Post Graduate Diploma. Our Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Transformation (Life Science) has received Springboard funding and will be commencing in February 2021.
