80% Subsidised Fees for Eligible Learners
Businesses across all sectors are under pressure to work more efficiently, respond more quickly to change, make better use of data, and deliver greater value to customers. This new micro-credential helps learners develop the knowledge and tools to support that transition.
The Certificate in Digital Business Excellence is an NFQ Level 8 Special Purpose Award worth 20 ECTS. It explores key themes including:
- business process improvement
- digital transformation
- operational excellence
- data-informed decision-making
- innovation
- change
Learners examine how digital technologies and structured improvement approaches can enhance efficiency, communication, service delivery, and overall business performance.
One of the key benefits of this programme for eligible learners is the 80% fee subsidy available through the Higher Education Authority’s (HEA) Micro-Credential Learner Fee Subsidy 2026 initiative.
The HEA introduced the subsidy to make accredited micro-credential learning more accessible, supporting lifelong learning and helping learners develop skills aligned with Ireland’s current and future workforce needs.
