Developed with extensive input from the biopharmaceutical, medical device and clinical trials sectors, these programmes offers a unique blend of modules providing learners with an opportunity to specialise and develop capability in a practical and convenient time frame. 

Funded by the Government's July Jobs Stimulus Package, these courses are free or highly subsidised for learners. 

Courses are suitable for those from engineering, science, quality, compliance or healthcare backgrounds and are seeking to keep up to date with relevant industry trends.

Accreditation &  Funding 

These courses consist of modules from the Innopharma Education and Griffith College suite of QQI validated degrees and masters programmes. These modules have been specifically selected to give learners the skills to secure advanced employment opportunities funded under the Government’s July Jobs Stimulus Initiative.

Learners who complete the modular courses are awarded a Certificate and will also receive a transcript of results detailing their attainment in the constituent modules on the related QQI validated programmes. Successful completion of the certificate’s constituent module(s) entitles learners to exemption(s) from the related module(s) in the relevant programme(s).

Modular Learning 

These courses are a unique blend of modules offered in a flexible, focused manner enabling learners to gain important and specialist skills in a convenient time frame.

Each module is a stand-alone component so that participants can gain skills and quickly put them into practice in the workplace. These courses can also facilitate a pathway to a full qualification, as each module is accredited, learners can add further module components to achieve a full academic qualification.

Innopharma / Griffith Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science 

A collaboration between Griffith College and Innopharma Education was established to provide accredited higher education qualifications, specifically in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The combination of Innopharma's industry expertise and Griffith College's expertise in business provides unique combination, delivery with expert scientific content, practical application, business content and professional development. These courses are delivered by lecturers with extensive experience, utilising blended learning and the best online learning technologies to provide flexible options to all learners.

Innopharma Education modules were ideally suited to our Operators, giving them key skills and a wider understanding of how Pharma businesses operate. The online structure of the modules made it easier for us to coordinate learning with shift and staff needs, so we trained a total of 17 people quickly.

How do I apply? 

To apply simply fill out the form on the course page that you are interested or contact us with the name of the programme you are applying to. 

Who are these programmes for?

Applicants are generally from engineering, science, quality, compliance, and healthcare background and are seeking to keep up to date with relevant industry advances.  

How many days a week will I have lectures?

Lectures will be delivered 1-2 evenings per week online and 1-2 Saturdays per month. 

When do these programmes start?

These modular courses start in February 2021. Exact start dates will be communicated to students closer to the time.  

How much do these modular courses cost? 

These modular courses are free for the unemployed and employed applicants receive a heavily subsidised fee. Each course fee is different. Please contact us directly for exact cost.  

Can I progress my studies on completion of these courses? 

On successful completion of the modular courses, students can progress to complete the full awards.

What documents do I need to apply?  

As part of the application process you will need to submit a copy of your CV, a copy of your ID and a copy of your previous qualification transcripts.
